Eight modules for 400 V drive systems
MAIN BATTERY MODULE

Your pack’s report proves it holds its rated kWh.
One main module and seven sub modules form the 37.6 kWh system. Formosa EV configures the BMS for your drive system.
View system specificationsConfigured to your drive system: one main module plus 1 to 15 sub modules, always in series, set up by Formosa EV. Eight modules provide 37.6 kWh. The BMS and its wiring are built in; one 4-pin connector links the main module to the Vehicle Control Unit.

Touchproof high-voltage connections
Sealed IP67 aluminum modules with 12 threaded mounting points each; brackets need only 6. Stack modules, stand them on their side, or spread them around the car to help set weight balance.
The main-module BMS monitors and balances every cell group. Cell-tap and temperature-sensor wiring is finished and sealed inside every module; no separate BMS box to mount.
Formosa EV sets the BMS voltage limits for the selected motor and inverter.
The main module contains the service disconnect/main fuse, HV contactors, precharge, and isolation monitor. Every sub module has a built-in fuse.
One 4-pin connector links the main module to the VCU: ground, switched 12 V, CAN high, and CAN low. Modules daisy-chain on the supplied harness.
Built-in liquid-cooling channels, with −6 AN male fittings supplied and manifolds available. Automotive- and aerospace-grade connectors carry the system’s electrical connections.
2–16 modules in series, configured by Formosa EV. Voltage and energy change with stack size; current ratings stay constant. No parallel wiring, mixed modules or builder expansion.
Every pack is charged and discharged before shipment. Its own report proves it holds its rated kWh, so you can count on the range.
Eight-module specifications. Select each stack against the drive system’s voltage limit; Formosa EV configures the BMS accordingly.

The pack’s voltage window, empty to full, at up to 4.2 V per cell. The BMS caps cell voltage to keep the pack within your drive system’s limits.
Builders supply brackets and bolts. Formosa EV includes HV cables made to your lengths and the low-voltage harnesses between modules.
Steel brackets at least 1/8 in (3 mm) thick.
Class 10.9 steel bolts or better; flanged hex heads recommended.
Mounting torque: 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
Attach brackets at structural chassis points. Each module has 12 threaded mounting points; brackets need only 6. Design consultation is available on request.
Lid up, lid down, or on either side, with the long axis horizontal (within 30°). Stack or distribute modules to suit the vehicle’s weight balance.
